Elaine Baillie - Chaplain
Elaine Baillie worked as an Educational Assistant at Elk Island for over sixteen years. Elaine is an ordained minister with the Canadian Fellowship of Churches and Ministries. She is full time in the role of Chaplain at FSCS, facilitating the spiritual growth and development of the students here.
Her vision is to equip children to hear the voice of God, pray and reach their world for Jesus. In the past number of years she has developed Prayer Teams who gather weekly to pray for their community, province and nation and held Prayer Schools. Elaine also hosts the ‘Alberta Youth Call 2 Prayer’, an annual day of prayer at the Legislature with students from across Alberta. Several of the schools’ Prayer Teams, have spent time at the National House of Prayer in Ottawa, in concentrated prayer for our government leaders. One Prayer Team even had the opportunity to meet and pray with our Prime Minister.
Elaine and her husband Ray pastor in the inner city in Edmonton at New Destiny Church. They live in Fort Saskatchewan and have three grown daughters and four grandchildren.
