Chaplain Elaine Baillie in the Prime Minister's seat in the House of Commons

Elaine Baillie worked as an Educational Assistant at Elk Island for over sixteen years. Elaine is an ordained minister with the Canadian Fellowship of Churches and Ministries.  She is full time in the role of Chaplain at FSCS, facilitating the spiritual growth and development of the students here.

Her vision is to equip children to hear the voice of God, pray and reach their world for Jesus. In the past number of years she has developed Prayer Teams who gather weekly to pray for their community, province and nation and held Prayer Schools. Elaine also hosts the ‘Alberta Youth Call 2 Prayer’, an annual day of prayer at the Legislature with students from across Alberta. Several of the schools’ Prayer Teams, have spent time at the National House of Prayer in Ottawa, in concentrated prayer for our government leaders. One Prayer Team even had the opportunity to meet and pray with our Prime Minister.

Elaine and her husband Ray pastor in the inner city in Edmonton at New Destiny Church. They live in Fort Saskatchewan and have three grown daughters and four grandchildren. 

Kerri Wiens - CHREDA Office Manager

Kerri Wiens has been working as the CHREDA Office Manager for the Society (Christian Education Association of Alberta) since March 2013.  She is also responsible for managing revenue for Christian Fees, publicity and initiatives promoted by the Board.  She and her husband Grant have six children and live on an acreage.
